Chopper Command
Chocks away old folks, it’s Chopper Command! In Activision’s hit 1982 game, players controlled a military helicopter whose goal was to protect a convoy of trucks on a mission through the desert. Fighting enemy fire, points were scored by obliterating hostile helicopters and jets, which could be seen on a ‘Long Range Scanner’ (or radar, to those of us in 2021).
